Dan Smouse

Lead Pastor

Dan joined us as lead pastor in November of 2015. He has been in professional ministry since September of 1987 and has served churches in Arizona, California, and Idaho in both a lead role and in student ministries. He has a Bachelors of Arts in Church Ministries with a minor in Bible from Arizona College of the Bible. He has also taken graduate level classes at Tyndale Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Dan came to saving faith in February 1971 at Centinela Baptist Church in Los Angeles and was raised in a Christian home by his dad and mom along with an older brother, Kory. He and his wife Raine met while serving in ministry at Scottsdale Bible Church in Scottsdale, Arizona and were married on October 27, 1990. They have three adult children and 6 grandchildren. Dan loves the outdoors, photography, and drinking coffee. He roots for the Dodgers (passionately!), the Phoenix Suns, the Raiders, and USC Trojan football. His favorite secular book is The Hobbit and his favorite book of the Bible is 1st Peter.
